Return Policy and Conditions
Our return policy is simple. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return the item/s within 5 days from the date of receipt and we will be glad to issue a store credit for the price of the item/s or make an exchange.
At California Computer Center, we are here to help you resolve a purchase problem as quickly and easily as possible. As long as you meet the terms and conditions that are stated in our return policy you will be able to make an exchange or get store credit. Please note that not all items are covered by our return policy. Among those brands excluded are products from Apple, Compaq, IBM, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony, Nikon, Motorola, Nokia, and Hewlett-Packard.
Due to certain manufacturer’s, policies and the restrictions placed upon us, the following products may not be exchanged or returned to us under any circumstances. Defective products are repaired and replaced in accordance with these manufacturers' established policies. Please call them directly for details on their specific return policies. Products from the following brands are accepted for repair only: including, but not limited to: Apple, Compaq, IBM, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony, Nikon, Motorola, Nokia and Hewlett-Packard. California Computer Center Corp. may not accept such returns for exchange, replacement or credit. If you receive a unit that is inoperable FOR ANY REASON, you may contact the manufacturer directly or any authorized service center in your area.
All returns require prior authorization. Returns must be authorized by us within 5 days from the date product was received by customer. Once an authorized return is made, a store credit or an exchange will be provided.
We will replace or repair, at our sole discretion, any product that is deemed defective within five (5) days from the date it was received by customer. After 5 days, the manufacturer's warranty process must be followed.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. Authorized returns must be 100 percent unregistered, complete, and contain all original manufacturer boxes with the original UPC code and packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories, all promotional items that were included with the shipment, and any other documentation included with the original shipment.
No credit for returns shipped improperly or missing manufacturer warranty cards and/or promotional items, etc. Credit will not be given since unit/s cannot be sold as new when these items are missing.
Shipping charges on returned items are the customer's responsibility; California Computer Center Corp. will match the shipping method and pay for shipping on replacement or exchange item(s).
Returns of unopened items and unauthorized returns are subject to 15% restocking fee. Credit will be issued based on Current Market Price (CMP), less a 15% re-stocking fee and shipping charges. Such a credit will only be issued if the item is shipped back not more than five days after it had originally been received by the customer. Opened product is subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Absolutely no refund on any software, cables or installable hardware including, but not limited to: Memory, CPU, Hard drive, Power Supply and Motherboards
All products are sold with their respective manufacturer’s warranties. Please note: Warranty periods and services vary by manufacturer and product.
Overseas customers are responsible for all custom release charges and express shipping charges relating to returns.
For your protection, we strongly recommend you fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage. Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery such as Federal Express or UPS.
Please note that if the box is opened or the box is marked with writing other than the shipping label, we reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee to help offset our loss on the devalued goods.
Credit will be issued upon inspection of the merchandise.
California Computer Center, will issue a refund (a credit to a customer’s credit card account, if that was the method by which the order was originally paid) once the items are received and inspected. Please allow 10-14 days for credit to be given. Every credit card has different posting cycles; please allow 1-2 billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

Defective cellular phones can be exchanged only within 14 days from the shipping date. After 14 days, all defective items should be sent to the manufacturer for exchange or repair.
Some unlocked cellular phones only have international warranties and defective units must be sent outside the U.S. for repair or exchange
Dead-on-arrival Cell phones are exchangeable provided that the unit has been used for less than thirty minutes and the request for exchange is made within a period of fourteen days from the date of the original invoice. The item must be in original factory condition including all packaging materials, inserts, manuals, warranty cards (not filled-out), and all accessories.
As is typical for the cellular phone industry, many of our unlocked GSM phones are produced outside the U.S. “International” phones will carry an international manufacturer warranty, as will be detailed in your owner’s manual. Often, they will come along with a user’s manual written in the language of the country of origin. Our return policy for these phones is as follows: Only DOA (Dead on Arrival) Exchanges will be made for these products through our RMA department. No returns are allowed otherwise. There are no exceptions."
Dead Pixel Policy: There must be 7+ dead pixels in order to obtain a replacement notebook
PLEASE NOTE: ALL products claimed to be defective that are returned to californiacomputer.com, and that test out in working condition will be assessed a 20% re-stocking fee. Additionally, any charges incurred by californiacomputer.com as a result will be transferred to the customer. PLEASE CALL THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT NUMBER FOR THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCT YOU PURCHASED PRIOR TO RETURNING PRODUCTS TO CALIFORNIACOMPUTER.COM.

To obtan an RMA #, please log in to your account. Then click the "my account" from the tabs across the top. Under order status, kindly click "Return Items (Return Merchandise Authorization"). Then click "NEW RMA". Fill in the "Return Merchandise Authorization Form". After entering information under "SKU", please click "ADD SKU". If you are returning more than one item, enter the sku information of the second item then click "ADD SKU" again. Please add SKU'S of all items to be returned. After all SKU'S are added, you can click "SUBMIT RMA". Our rma department will then get back with you as soon as possible.
We reserves the right to return any merchandise without a valid RMA# to the customer or to prorate the credit.
A RMA is valid for 10 days. You will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns, unless otherwise indicated. If you choose not to insure your package and we do not accept return of the product for reasons stated in our terms and conditions, you will be responsible for any loss or damage. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in conformity with this policy, the purchase price will be credited to your credit card account minus any applicable fees. Please allow 14 days from when we accept your product for the processing of your credit. Additional charges may be assessed for products returned with any missing parts and/or accessories. For product that we verify to be defective, we may pay freight in one direction only on any such merchandise exchanges.
All products returned for RMA must: be 100 percent complete and contain all original manufacturer boxes with the original UPC code and packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment.

Write your RMA number legibly on the return label. Please don’t write on the box. The returned package must be received within 10 business days of the RMA issued date.

All returned merchandise must be in the original packaging with the UPC or bar code intact. All components, manuals, registration card(s), software, cables & accessories must be included. californiacell.com inspects all returns and reserves the right to return merchandise that does not meet the criteria.
